Our deliverables cover a wide range of cloud-native applications, and we are looking for an experienced Developer to support and guide our team of Full Stack Developers. Who you are
You are a person with exceptional talent and drive, and you solve real business problems by creating complete technical solutions.
You are a strong communicator and gracious team player-- you believe high-quality work is just as important as a high-quality working environment.
You have 5+ years of experience working throughout the full web stack.
You are experienced in JavaScript, Node, React, Java and Python.
You have strong data and API modeling skills.
You have a solid understanding of Javascript design patterns, data structures, web architecture, and understand how to design and develop pragmatic solutions.
You know and care about sound engineering practices like continuous delivery and automated testing.
You have experience building up and maintaining scalable solutions in the cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure).
You thrive with agile development practices, prioritizing valuable work and maintaining relevant documentation
What you’ll do
Be a valued team member of a client-facing, autonomous, cross-functional agile team to continuously iterate and deliver superior digital products and services for our clients.
Work and collaborate in a fast-paced environment with business stakeholders, UI/UX designers, product owners, and other engineers.
Work with technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Node, Next.js, Java, Python, and SQL.
Employ appropriate tooling and automation to efficiently deploy and manage applications in a cloud environment by using appropriate CI/CD tools.
Be a strong participant in the PYYNE community and help drive web engineering practicing across the company.
Actively coach and mentor other engineers by sharing knowledge, explaining solutions, and performing code reviews.
Minimum qualifications
B. Sc. / M. Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Statistics or related technical/quantitative field or equivalent work experience.
